15 minutes cruise time with DiveTalia. Situated at the west of Bodrum Peninsula near Akyarlar Bay. Kargı Island has strong and frequent current during most of the season. Current starts from the depth of 7-8 meters reaches to 25 meters and the direction of current differs day to day.
Because of strong current the aquatic life is rich and diverse. Divers may come across groupers, schools of barracudas, jackfish, learfish, dentex, stingrays, moray eels, octopus, cuttlefish, squid, lionfish, crabs, lobsters and different kinds of Mediterranean Species.
Dive Routes: In Kargı Island, there are two optional routes. Left wall is shallower and easier. However
alluring dive site in Kargı Island is the hidden reef. There are walls and pillars that resembles a maze, one diver can comfortably swim around. Perfect place to use Suex Underwater

The best way to explore dive site is direct drop off to the reef that Ottoman Anchor is laying between 25-27 meters. The dimensions of the anchor is 3 meters to 5 meters. Anchor is surrounded by rock formations that is nice to check for aquatic life and the depth reaches around 35 meters.
Divers may come across groupers, schools of barracudas, moray eels, octopus lairs between rock formations.

15 minutes cruise by DiveTalia. It is on the Bodrum Peninsula between Bitez Bay and Gümbet Bay. The dive site is both appropriate for open water and advanced divers. One of the best dive site in Bodrum for Discovery Dives.
Dive Route: Best route starts from shallow water around 3 meters near the shore. The rock formations will be at your right side and you will gradually descent to 18 meters over posidonias surrounded by rock formations. After 18 meters the a steep wall starts that reaches to 40 meters. Occasionally there is current on the way to wall that makes you feel ‘going with the flow’ and on the way back you may swim against current.
Divers need to be aware of the boat traffic, they should not swim near the surface when they are further away from the shore.
While aquatic life is mostly between 5 to 18 meters, Wolf Point may surprise you with unexpected species. Divers may come across froupers, schools of learfish and dentex, moray eels, lobsters, octopus, crabs even tunafish and caretta carettas.

a hill under the water which is smaller than the Big Reef. The top of Small Reef starts at 6 meters. Like Big Reef, it is also a fascinating place for drop off, feeling like flying while reaching to maximum depth of 32 meters.
Dive Route: According to the current situation and direction, you can make 2 round trips in Small Reef because of its smaller dimensions. With its diverse underwater life, it is the hunting place for groupers, tunafish, bonitos and barracudas. Apart from these divers may come upon jackfish, learfish, dentex, stingrays, moray eels, octopus, lionfish, crabs, lobsters and Tritons.

15 minutes cruise with DiveTalia. This diving spot is situated on the north western side of Black island right across Bodrum peninsula. It is one of the rare spots that has three diving sites.
Dive Route 1; The Left Wall: Dive starts at shallow depth around 3 meters over posidonias and rock formations. You will gradually descent to 18 meters and make a slight turn to your left where the left wall begins. From that point the wall reaches to the maximum depth of 32 meters. Left wall seldomly has a current on your way back to the starting point.
Dive Route 2; The Hidden Reef: The Hidden Reef is situated further from the shore. Because of the long swimming time, best way of entry is dropping off from the boat on top of the reef. The shallowest part of the reef is 18 meters and gradually descents to 40+ meters. After the tour around the reef, you will hit the way back to the shore over posidonias.
Dive Route 3; The Right Wall: It is the shallow and easy dive site of Barracuda Point. The dive starts around 3 meters and most of the dive will be around 12 to 18 meters. At the end of the wall there is a steep wall that goes to maximum 28 meters. Ideal side of the Barracuda Point for open water divers. Both the right and the left wall have the usual suspects of the Mediterranian Sea like groupers, jackfish, morray eels octopus and lion fish. On the other hand the Hidden Reef is famous for its school of barracudas, stingrays, numerous groupers and occasional carretta carrettas. Nice diving spot for underwater photographers in Bodrum. It is also a great place for Underwater Scooters(DPVs) to explore all three routes in one dive.

Dive Route 1; SG115 Coast Guard Wreck: SG115 is a German made coast guard ship used by the Turkish Coast Guard. The ship is decommissioned and donated to Bodrum to create an artificial reef in Black ısland, Bodrum. It was sunked by BOSAD in 2007. The dive starts at shallow depth of 3 meters. It takes around 7 to 8 minutes of swimming over posidonias until SG115 appears where the sand starts. The stern of the wreck sits on on the rocks around 18 meters. The bow leads to the open sea with a maximum depth of 29 meter. It is exciting to swim along the bridge from one door to the other. If you are lucky SG115 may suprise you with schools of lear fish and stingrays on the sand. In its hidden compartments you may find different types of shrimps.
Dive Route 2; Allarga Wall: Dive starts at shallow depth of 3 meters and gradually descents to 32 meters. From that point you turn slightly to the right and continue along the wall. The maximum depth reaches to 34 meters. Alarga Wall seldomly has a current on your way back to the starting point. Divers may come across schools of different kind of fish like dentex and learfish. You may also see groupers, moray eels, lionfish, crabs, lobsters, tritons and colorful nudibranches.

15 minutes cruise with DiveTalia. Situated right next to SG115 wreck on Black Island near Bodrum Peninsula. In this dive spot we have two diving routes.
Dive Route 1; C-47 Dakota Plane Wreck: An iconic plane designed during the WW2 by Douglas Aircraft Company, this particular plane saw action in 1974 droping paratroopers over Cyprus Island by the Turkish Airforce. After being decommissioned by the Turkish Military, the plane was donated to Bodrum to create an artificial reef in Black Island Bodrum. Like SG115 it is sunked by BOSAD in 2007. Dive starts at shallow depth of 3 meters in the bay and you follow the left wall while heading out of the bay till you reach the depth of 18 meters. After 10 to 12 minutes of swimming, you first see the engine and the propeller separated from the wing. The tip of the wing stands at 17 meters and the other tip goes to 26 meters.
The cockpit sits on the sand at 23 meters and the fuselage drifted away around 20 meters from the wings. The deepest point of the wreck is around 34 meters where the fuselage stands.
Dive Route 2; Paçoz Wall: Dive starts at shallow depth of 3 meters in the bay and you follow the right wall while heading out of the bay till you reach the depth of 36 meters. From that point to turn slightly to right and follow along the wall. There are two patches of posidonias where the groupers like to chill. The route is comfotable and easy for every type of divers with clear visibility without any current.
Divers may come across schools of different kind of fish like dentex and learfish. You may also see groupers, morray eels, lion fish, crabs, lobsters, tritons and colorful nudibranches.

The bay gains its historical name from the Ottoman times as the smugglers of the time did their questionable trade between Greek Islands and the main land of Anatolia. It was a safe place for the smugglers to avoid the law and the bad weather. In this dive spot we have two diving routes.
Dive Route1; Right Wall: Dive starts at shallow depth of 3 meters. You will have a 5 minute of swimming inside the bay. When you reach around 8 meters and see the start of posidonias, you take a right turn where the wall starts. Follow the wall on your right and pass the horn, you reach 20 meters. There are several amphoras laying on the sand further away from the wall in between 23 to 28 meters. If you are lucky, you may see a moray eel that made the amphora its lair. The wall continues around 18 to 22 meters while you see several large chunk of rocks that goes to 28 meters. The route is comfortable and easy for every type of divers with clear visibility without any current.
Dive Route 2; Left Wall: Dive starts at shallow depth of 3 meters. You will have a 7 minute of swimming inside the bay. When you reach around 14 meters and see the start of posidonias, you take a left turn where the wall starts. You will enjoy the amazing shapes of the volcanic rock formations which hides beneath the endemic species of the Mediterranian Sea. The deepest point of the wall is 30 meters. We strongly recommend for expert divers to have a DPV dive heading to left side of the smugglers bay which leads you to a hidden wall in two minutes. The steep wall starts with a drop off to 30+ meters and carry on a long wall that has a maximum depth of 35 meters.

route: The dive starts at depth of 5 meters. Dive spot is usually choppy on the surface. The wall quickly descents to 40+ meters and gradually comes bock to 24 meters. Your wall excursion will last till you reach the sandy bottom. From there you gradually ascent to 12 meters till you reach the enterance of the Bubble Cave. It is more of a cavity then a cavern which 3 to 5 divers can get inside. There is a chimney that leads you to outside at 5 meters. The cave get its name from the bubbles that divers breath out inside the cave.

After being decommissioned by the Turkish Military, the ship was donated to Bodrum to create an artificial reef in Black Island, Bodrum. Like SG115 and C-47 Dakota Plane, it was sunked by BOSAD in 2007. This dive spot has a single diving route.
Dive Route: The dive starts at depth of 5 meters. A small wall drops to 14 meters. From there, you swim towards the open sea around 4 minutes over the posidonias where Pınar 1 appear with its impressive silhouette. The stern sit on sand at 23 meters. The deck of the stern is around 18 meters. When you consider the Pınar 1 Wreck has a length of 37 meters and width of 7 meters, it reaches a maximum depth of 34 meters towards the open sea. The ship has multiple penetration points for experienced wreck divers.
Pınar 1 Wreck is a beloved place for scorpion fish to rest and chill. Inside the ship you may come across brown meagres. Divers may come accross groupers, lionfish, moray eels, lobsters, crabs, dentex and learfish.

Dive Route: The dive stars at the depth of 3 meters. With the rocks on your right you start to swim towards outside of the bay. As you swim, the depth gradually increases to 30 meters. From that point you slightly turn to your right and follow the wall. Depth increases to maximum 40 meters as you go. Around 25 meters there are several large rock pillars scattered around. You may find crabs and lobsters inside the holes situated on the rocks. Divers may come across groupers, jackfish, morray eels, octopus and lion fish.

25 minutes cruise with DiveTalia. Situated southeast end of the Black Island, Bodrum. It is a small islet one nautical mile away from the Black Island. In 2016, a bronze statue was sunked in memory of Turkish businessman Mustafa Koç and Badem, a Mediterranian seal which Mr. Koç adopted.
Dive Route: This diving spot is known for its strong current. The side which facing the Datça Peninsula is the route where the statue is situated. Dive starts at the depth of 5 meters. You turn to the direction of Datça and gradually descent over the rocks till you reach the posedonias around 20 meters. From the posedonias you turn to your right and swim till you reach to the statue. You may come across barracudas on the way. The statue is grounded at 23 meters. From the foundation to the tip of Mr. Koç’s hand, the statue is around 6 meters tall. From the statue you continue your dive through the reef as the depth gradually goes to 35 meters. Divers may come across groupers, jackfish, morray eels, octopus and lion fish. Because of its strong current, this spot is for experienced divers. It is also a great place for drift dives and DPVs

40 minutes cruise with DiveTalia. Situated further away from Black Island, it is closer to Gökova Bay. This place is special for its magnificent underwater topography and a huge wall that goes to 100+ meters deep.
Dive Route: Dive starts at the depth of 6 meters over the sand. You turn your direction towards Gökova Bay and swim through rock formations that consists of thin and long volcanic pillars. At the end of the pillars you reach to the huge drop off which has an thrilling view of unending deep blue. Wall continues on your right. As you gradually descent deeper you come across several small cavities that have purple sponges. It is prefered hunting ground for learfish, jackfish and bonitos. Divers may come across groupers, moray eels octopus, lion fish and carretta carrettas. This dive spot is one of the best places for DPV and technical divers.
